Build relationships with local organizations, and table at community events. Onboard new chapter members and help them connect to working groups.

Organize protests, rallies, and other events. Share legal/safety info and promote nonviolent resistance. Offer logistical support including water, sound, and venues.

Be seen, literally, and let the public know that Roanoke is fighting the authoritarian takeover. Hold signs over freeway overpasses, spread the word about the effects of Trump’s policies and share ways to push back.

Win hearts and minds by engaging in direct conversation, at doors or on the phone, about the issues that affect us all. Get trained in research-tested methods that can bridge the partisan divide and get back to the basics of what we all need and want.

Work with external media, publish stories, and develop/support social media outreach. Design flyers and other printed materials, website, and newsletter. Also refine and edit rough draft content.
